Korea Fintech Industry Association Successfully Holds Fintech Connecting Day: "Boosting Global VC and Industry Networking"

Over 200 Participants Including Fintech Companies, Financial Institutions, AFA, International Delegates, and Investors

The Korea Fintech Industry Association announced on the 27th that it had successfully held the Fintech Connecting Day at the "Korea Fintech Week 2025," which was organized by the Financial Services Commission on the 26th at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Fintech Connecting Day is a networking event attended by over 200 participants, including fintech companies, financial institutions, investors, and journalists. It provides an opportunity for industry stakeholders to freely exchange information and discuss business partnerships.


In his opening remarks, Chairman Lee Geunju of the Korea Fintech Industry Association stated, "The fintech industry plays a vital role at the forefront of global financial innovation," adding, "I hope exchanges among industry stakeholders become even more active, leading to new collaborative projects and investment opportunities."


Wi Chunggi, Director General of Digital Finance at the Financial Supervisory Service, and Kangil Lee, a member of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee from the Democratic Party of Korea, also delivered congratulatory speeches. They conveyed their expectations and support for the development of the fintech ecosystem.


This year, the Korea Fintech Industry Association, together with the Financial Supervisory Service, organized the Tech Finder Showcase, the Venture Capital (VC) Investment Festival, and Fintech Connecting Day. These events featured company technology and business model presentations, technology demonstrations for overseas VCs, investment and partnership consultations, and networking sessions.


During the core session of the event, the Corporate Casual Pitching, 11 companies selected by the Korea Fintech Industry Association and the Financial Supervisory Service presented their visions and services.


The participating companies were Gowid, Fractal FN, Korea Legal Data, Ames, Retrust, CNTech, Gotgan Logis, Noryspace, Whatsub, Currency United, and Crosshub.


After the pitching session, domestic and international participants engaged in discussions on collaboration and investment consultations.


A representative from the Korea Fintech Industry Association said, "This event served as an important opportunity to expand exchanges among fintech companies and support the discovery of global partnerships," adding, "We plan to continue operating a variety of programs to further strengthen the fintech industry ecosystem."
