Woo Ohhyun, Chairman of SM Group, strongly emphasized the value of "mutual growth and co-prosperity based on trust" as a solution to overcoming the "challenging business environment" created by both global protectionism and sluggish domestic demand.

This meeting, which SM Group has held annually since 2019, is a meaningful occasion to share the year’s achievements, listen directly to the voices of frontline partners, and seek ways for mutual development in the coming year.
On this day, Chairman Woo was joined by Lim Dongbok, Head of the Construction Division, as well as representatives from major construction affiliates such as Kyungnam Corporation, Samhwan Corporation, Dong-Ah Construction Industrial, and Woobang, along with representatives from more than 60 partner companies.
Chairman Woo expressed his deep gratitude, stating, "Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our partners, SM Group has been able to achieve stable growth even in a difficult environment marked by strengthened global protectionism and sluggish domestic demand." He further emphasized that the partners were at the heart of the meaningful achievements realized this year under the management policy of "bold and practical value creation."
SM Group also recognized outstanding partners at the event. Seongho SC, Boseong Tech, Shinhyun Construction, and Sungji Steel were selected as "Best Partners," receiving plaques of appreciation and monetary awards, as well as the promise of practical benefits such as support for contract performance guarantee fees. In addition, newly joined partners were welcomed as new companions of SM Group this year.
Chairman Woo acknowledged that next year’s business environment may also be challenging, but expressed a strong will for co-prosperity, stating, "Especially in such times, if we trust and rely on each other as solid partners, growth will be sustainable and even crises can become opportunities for us."
Kim Sangkyun, CEO of Seongho SC, who attended as a representative of the Best Partners, responded, "I am deeply grateful for SM Group’s sincerity in supporting partners at the front lines and enabling us to grow together," and promised, "We will continue to repay you with the highest quality."
SM Group plans to continue holding meetings with partners to practice "responsible management" by reflecting on-site voices in management policies and to further promote communication.
