A Year of Inspiring Volunteerism... Yeongyang County Holds the 13th Volunteer Grand Festival

Sharing is the most certain form of happiness!

The Yeongyang County Volunteer Center (Director Kim Gildong) held the 13th Yeongyang County Volunteer Grand Festival at the Yeongyang County Community Center on November 26, with over 200 volunteers in attendance.

This event was organized to express gratitude to the volunteers who contributed to the development of the local community through their service over the past year, and to provide an opportunity for communication and unity among participants.

During the first part of the event, 10 volunteers received awards in a total of eight categories, including a commendation from the county governor. The second part featured a variety of programs such as celebratory performances and prize drawings, which were met with enthusiastic response from the attendees.

Kim Gildong, Director of the Yeongyang County Volunteer Center, stated, "I hope today's event will be an opportunity for volunteers to take pride in their work, and I will do my best to further promote volunteerism in the future."

County Governor Oh Dochang said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the volunteers who have quietly dedicated themselves to our community," adding, "We will continue to actively support the promotion of volunteer activities going forward."
