In line with the event's theme, "Fintech x AI: Adding Personal Taste to Finance," Kakao Pay will showcase its advanced financial services tailored to individual preferences.

Korea Fintech Week is the largest annual global fintech expo in Korea, hosted by the Financial Services Commission and joined by leading fintech companies.

Kakao Pay, which has introduced distinctive tech-fin services every year, is presenting the concept "Personalized Finance with Kakao Pay" this year.

This year, the company will introduce its own generative artificial intelligence (AI) service brand "Pay AI" and its "Overseas Travel One-Stop Service."

First, in the Pay AI Zone, visitors can experience the "Manage My Health with AI" and "Find My Own Benefits with AI" services, which use AI to personalize insurance, payments, and card benefits.

"Manage My Health with AI," officially launched in June, is a service that provides personalized health and insurance analysis based on users' health data.

By linking their insurance MyData to Kakao Pay, users can receive disease predictions and health information using health checkup statistics from the past three years, and, if needed, be connected to insurance consultations.

"Find My Own Benefits with AI," which began beta service last month, utilizes users' payment data and MyData to recommend the optimal payment method based on where and how much they spend.

It also highlights the performance status of each credit card the user holds and points out benefits that are easy to miss. By analyzing spending patterns, it suggests personalized cards as well.

Starting with these two services, Kakao Pay plans to expand the scope of Pay AI across all areas of finance and payments, while also gradually integrating and advancing with Kakao's AI services.

In the Overseas Travel One-Stop Service Zone, visitors can experience a variety of services to assess their travel style-such as Smart Planner, Romantic Explorer, or All-in-One Carrier-through an overseas travel personality test.

Kakao Pay currently offers an Overseas Travel One-Stop Service that covers not only local payments abroad but also preparations before departure and post-trip wrap-up after returning home.

Before departure, users can book flights and accommodations via Kakao Pay's online payment and prepare for their trip by utilizing a variety of benefit information.

While abroad, users can enjoy the convenience and discounts of making payments at a wide range of merchants using NFC, barcode, or QR code-without the need for currency exchange.

After returning home, users can settle shared travel expenses and handle tax refunds, all through Kakao Pay.

There are also giveaways prepared for booth visitors. Those who experience the services will receive a reusable bag featuring Kakao Pay's unique style on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, there will be an instant lucky draw where visitors can win a random-value Kakao Pay Point gift card.

A Kakao Pay representative said, "Korea Fintech Week is an opportunity to observe the reactions of users who encounter Kakao Pay in their daily lives and to feel the intensity of service competition," adding, "We will continue to lead the trend of integrating AI throughout finance and strive to provide services that proactively meet users' needs and preferences."
