원본보기 아이콘Hana Bank announced on the 25th that it had signed a business agreement with the global dining brand McDonald's Korea at its headquarters in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 24th, and will collaborate to expand customer-centric lifestyle financial services.
The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Hosung, CEO of Hana Bank, Kim Giwon, CEO of McDonald's Korea, and executives and employees from both companies. Various collaboration plans were discussed, including creating customer experiences by combining financial and lifestyle brands and jointly developing ESG-based financial products.
Through this business agreement, Hana Bank plans to expand the core benefits and value of financial services into customers' daily experiences and to concretize its 'lifestyle finance' strategy by leveraging synergies with McDonald's, a leading daily life brand.
To start, Hana Bank and McDonald's Korea will pursue strategic collaborations that combine financial and non-financial sectors, such as providing McDonald's mobile coupons and Happy Work tickets in conjunction with the launch of financial products and services, as well as conducting joint advertising and promotional activities using both companies' internal media channels.
In addition, the two companies will cooperate to jointly develop ESG-focused financial products to promote a culture of giving, and plan to launch the 'Lucky Donation Savings' product in December. This product is designed so that, at maturity, a certain amount selected by the customer is donated, thereby contributing to social value creation. According to the subscription conditions, a total of 60,000 McDonald's coupons will be distributed to subscribers and event participants.
Lee Hosung, CEO of Hana Bank, stated, "This agreement is a meaningful attempt to expand finance into the realm of daily life together with the global brand McDonald's, providing customers with both enjoyment and value.
