Umi Construction announced on the 25th that it will open the model house for "Hwaseong Namyang Newtown Umirin Eduhigh," which is being built in Namyang Newtown, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, on the 28th and begin accepting applications for purchase.
Hwaseong Namyang Newtown Umirin Eduhigh is located in Namyang-ri, Namyang-eup, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The development consists of six buildings with two basement levels and 24 floors above ground, offering a total of 556 units with an exclusive area of 84 square meters each.
The application schedule starts with special supply on the 1st of next month, followed by first-priority applications on the 2nd and second-priority applications on the 3rd. Winners will be announced on the 10th of the same month, and contract signing will take place over three days from the 21st to the 23rd.
As the project is subject to the price ceiling system, it is evaluated as offering a reasonable sale price. For an 84-square-meter unit, home ownership is possible in the low to mid-400 million won range. A flat-rate first down payment of 10 million won has been introduced to reduce the initial financial burden. In addition, a zero-interest benefit for interim payments is provided, allowing buyers to secure a home without additional payments beyond the down payment until move-in.
Key infrastructure such as Hwaseong City Hall and the double-track Seohae Line are being established in Namyang Newtown. The area also boasts excellent educational conditions. Saedong Elementary and Middle Schools, located in front of the complex, are scheduled to open in March next year, and Hwaseong City Namyang Library and the Namyang Newtown academy district are also nearby.
Transportation is also cited as a major advantage. Hwaseong City Hall Station on the Seohae Line, which opened at the end of last year between Seohwaseong and Hongseong, is nearby. The new Shinansan Line, which will share the route with the Seohae Line’s Wonsi-Seohwaseong section scheduled to open in December next year, is also planned for completion in December 2028. Once the "Seohae Line KTX Connection" project, which passed the preliminary feasibility study this year, is completed, it will be possible to travel from Hongseong to Yongsan in Seoul in 45 minutes.
The complex is primarily south-facing and the distance between buildings has been secured to enhance comfort. The development is designed as a car-free zone above ground, and 1.33 parking spaces per unit have been provided. Amenities within the community include a fitness club, residents’ caf?, and screen golf facility, as well as study spaces such as a reading room and a small library.
