Every winter, Ulleungdo Island is blanketed in white snow.

This winter of 2025 is expected to be an even more special memory for the children of Ulleung County.

On November 22, Ulleung County Dream Start invited 287 children eligible for the Dream Start program and local families with young children to the county community center to watch the Snow Bubble Show as part of its child development and parenting education program.

This Snow Bubble Show was planned and directed by the bubble artist "Bubble J," and is currently beloved nationwide. As a family-friendly performance, it continues to see growing demand and has established itself as a leading cultural content. The event was organized to provide Dream Start children and local families with an opportunity for cultural experiences while helping to strengthen family bonds by enjoying the performance together.

The large-scale bubble techniques, combined with fog and snow special effects, offered the audience a mesmerizing visual experience akin to walking through snow in the heart of winter. In particular, the show included an interactive program where children could step inside giant bubbles, allowing them to foster creativity and imagination while strengthening family ties through this meaningful experience.

County Governor Nam Han-gwon said, "Just like the light and color contained in a small bubble, I hope today's experience becomes a warm memory in the hearts of our children," and added, "We will continue to expand various cultural programs so that both children and families can enjoy healthier and happier lives."
