Kim Siwoo achieved his best result of the year.
On November 23 (local time), at the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005 yards) of Sea Island Golf Club in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, USA, Kim played the fourth round of the RSM Classic (total prize money of 7 million dollars), the final event of the 2025 PGA Tour Fall Series. He recorded four birdies, finishing with a 4-under-par 66. With a final total of 19-under-par 264, he tied for fourth place. This marks his third top-10 finish of the year, following a tie for eighth at both the RBC Heritage in April and the PGA Championship in May, and is his personal season-best result.
This tournament alternated between the Plantation Course (par 72, 7,060 yards) and the Seaside Course of Sea Island Golf Club for the first and second rounds, with the third and fourth rounds played on the Seaside Course.
Kim Siwoo started the day tied for seventh, four strokes behind the leader, and kicked off with a birdie on the first hole (par 4). He then made par on the next six holes, before making consecutive birdies on holes 8 and 9 to chase the leaders. However, in the back nine, he managed just one more birdie on the 15th hole (par 5). With four career PGA Tour victories, Kim advanced to the second round of the playoffs (BMW Championship) this season and finished 37th in the FedExCup rankings.
Sami Valimaki of Finland shot four under par to claim his first career victory, finishing at 23-under-par 259. After joining the PGA Tour in 2024, he collected his first trophy in his 54th event. He received a winner’s prize of 1.26 million dollars (about 1.86 billion won). Before this win, Valimaki had one victory each on the DP World Tour at the 2020 Oman Open and the 2023 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
