Development of Hospital Administrative Automation Chatbot... Dong-Eui University Medical Management Wins Top Award at Korean Hospital Management Association

Awarded at the Young Leaders' Case Competition

The 'HI-Miner 3.0' team, composed of students from the Department of Medical Management at Dong-Eui University, received the highest award at the '2025 Korean Hospital Management Association Fall Academic Conference'.

Dong-Eui University announced that the 'HI-Miner 3.0' team, consisting of five undergraduates from the Department of Medical Management, was awarded the Korean Hospital Management Association President's Award at the '2025 Korean Hospital Management Association Fall Academic Conference - 12th Young Leaders' Case Competition', which was held at Yonsei University Graduate School of Public Health on October 24.

The team is comprised of students Choi Eunji, Song Hoyeon, Son Sumin, Lim Heejin, and Jung Yumi from the Department of Medical Management. Addressing the competition's theme, 'Redesigning Hospital Management Efficiency Using AI', they proposed 'Administrative Automation Chatbot for Hospital Staff: Deep DS' and presented a concrete implementation plan, earning them the top award.

The HI-Miner 3.0 team identified the design direction and functions of an administrative support chatbot model aimed at improving the efficiency of hospital administrative work. Based on this, they developed a pilot chatbot system and demonstrated it in person, receiving high marks from the judges.

Professor Park Ilsu from the Department of Medical Management also received the 'Outstanding Advisor Award' at the Young Leaders' Case Competition.

The 'Young Leaders' Case Competition' is an academic event held annually by the Korean Hospital Management Association for young members aspiring to become future hospital managers.
