Key Real Estate Taxation Issues for a Super-Aged Society
Expert Lecture on Real Estate Taxation for Agents and Citizens
Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Yuk Donghan) will host the '2025 Chuncheon City Real Estate Academy,' which will address key issues in real estate taxation that have become a topic of discussion as the city enters a super-aged society.
The academy will take place at 2 p.m. on November 25 in the main conference room at City Hall and is open to all citizens. The lecture will be delivered by tax accountant Kim Jongpil, an expert in real estate taxation. Kim has extensive experience, having given numerous lectures, contributed columns, and appeared on broadcasts at financial institutions, universities, and local governments.
The city organized this academy in response to the growing interest in tax burdens such as inheritance and gifting, as more parents retire due to an aging population. There has also been an increase in related inquiries at real estate agencies.
A city official stated, "As demand for real estate tax information among citizens increases, we hope this lecture will provide practical help both to those in the field and to the public."
