NongHyup Bank Holds Nongshim Cheonsim Movement Discussion for Seoul National University Students

NH NongHyup Bank announced that it held a discussion on 'Understanding the Nongshim Cheonsim Movement' at the Seoul National University Auditorium on the 20th.

The discussion was attended by over 100 Seoul National University students and was conducted in the form of an explanation of the main aspects of the Nongshim Cheonsim Movement, followed by a Q&A session and open discussion. The Nongshim Cheonsim Movement is a nationwide campaign aimed at fostering empathy and participation regarding the importance of agriculture as a food supplier and the value of rural communities. Its goals are to promote the public value of agriculture and rural areas, increase farmers' income, and revitalize rural communities.

Kim Woopyo, Branch Manager of the Seoul National University Branch who led the discussion, said, "I was surprised by the students' passionate participation and interest, which exceeded my expectations. I hope this discussion will serve as a starting point for the Nongshim Cheonsim Movement to spread across university campuses nationwide."

Baek Namseong, Deputy President of the Public Finance Division at NongHyup Bank, stated, "We will continue to develop various Nongshim Cheonsim activities to raise public awareness of the value of agriculture and rural communities, which are the nation's lifeline, and to enhance the sustainability of agriculture."
