Hanmi Semiconductor Selected as Outstanding Company for Financial Disclosure by Financial Supervisory Service

Hanmi Semiconductor announced on November 20 that it has been selected by the Financial Supervisory Service as an “Outstanding Company for Financial Disclosure in 2025.”

The Financial Supervisory Service annually selects companies that have demonstrated exemplary XBRL financial disclosure practices as outstanding companies. On November 20, the agency held the “2025 XBRL Financial Disclosure Outstanding Company Awards” at its Yeouido headquarters and presented certificates of appreciation to companies that excelled in XBRL financial disclosure.

The Financial Supervisory Service evaluated that Hanmi Semiconductor made significant contributions by successfully implementing international standard (XBRL) data-based financial disclosure, thereby improving information accessibility for both domestic and international investors and contributing to the globalization of Korea’s capital markets.

XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) is an international standard electronic disclosure system for preparing and distributing financial statements in electronic document format, allowing for the provision of financial information in a manner accepted by global capital markets. Investors can easily and quickly search, compare, and analyze companies’ financial information, and foreign investors can automatically convert disclosures into English to review financial data. This greatly enhances the transparency and accessibility of corporate information.

Since 2023, the Financial Supervisory Service has mandated the adoption of XBRL for companies with assets of 2 trillion won or more, and since 2024, for companies with assets of 500 billion won or more. Accordingly, Hanmi Semiconductor implemented XBRL financial disclosure in 2024.

A Hanmi Semiconductor representative stated, “Being selected as an outstanding company for XBRL financial disclosure is recognition of Hanmi Semiconductor’s efforts toward transparent and accurate financial disclosure. We will continue to maintain transparent management and a reliable disclosure system in line with international standards, providing accurate information to shareholders and investors.”

Recently, Hanmi Semiconductor has also been recognized for its technological capabilities. On November 18, Hanmi Semiconductor’s TC Bonder for HBM production, a core piece of equipment for AI semiconductors, was selected as a “World-Class Product of 2025” at an event hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, officially proving its status as the world’s number one equipment in terms of market share.

Founded in 1980, Hanmi Semiconductor is a global semiconductor equipment company with approximately 320 clients worldwide. It currently holds the number one global market share for TC Bonders used in HBM production and has focused on strengthening intellectual property since 2002, filing 130 patents related to HBM equipment to date.
