NH Nonghyup Bank Launches Offline Open Banking Service

Use Other Bank Accounts at Branch Counters

NH Nonghyup Bank announced on November 20 that it has launched the 'Offline Open Banking' service, which allows customers to view, withdraw, and transfer funds from accounts at other banks through branch counters by applying the account-based API of the Open Banking joint business system. To celebrate the launch, the bank is holding a special event.

This new service expands open banking functions, which were previously only available through non-face-to-face channels, to in-person branch counters. Any individual customer aged 19 or older who holds a NH Nonghyup Bank demand deposit account can use the service. Key features include viewing balances and transaction histories of one's accounts at other banks, as well as withdrawing funds from accounts at other banks and transferring them to their NH Nonghyup Bank demand deposit account.

To commemorate the launch, an event will be held until December 19 for a total of 777 customers. Among customers who newly sign up for offline open banking at a branch, 700 will be selected by lottery to receive a Starbucks Americano and croissant set. Additionally, among those who withdraw funds from accounts at other banks via offline open banking and newly open a NH Nonghyup Bank savings or installment savings account on the same day, a total of 77 customers will receive prizes: 7 Shinsegae Department Store gift certificates, 10 Naver Pay point coupons, 25 Paris Baguette vouchers, and 35 BBQ chicken sets.

An NH Nonghyup Bank representative stated, "With this service, customers' access to and choice of financial services have been significantly expanded," adding, "We will continue to strengthen practical benefits for customers through customer-centric financial services."
