4by4 Secures Contract for Nightscape Project Around Andong Dam

On November 19, 2025, 4by4, a company specializing in content artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, announced that it has finalized a contract for the “Media Production and Installation” segment of Phase 1 of the Andong Dam Nightscape Improvement Project.

The project awarded to 4by4 involves installing a large-scale media art exhibition at Woryeong Park and Woryeonggyo Bridge, which are well-known as major night tourism attractions near Andong Dam in North Gyeongsang Province. The project will install high-powered projectors capable of projecting over a distance of approximately 430 meters, delivering video content that reinterprets Andong’s history, culture, and stories.

4by4, which specializes in producing ultra-high-definition video content, will handle a range of tasks for this project, including overall project planning and the creation of immersive content. The total project value is 2 billion won, with 4by4 securing a contract worth approximately 1.1 billion won, representing a 51% stake.

The successful contract can be attributed in part to 4by4’s previous achievements in nightscape improvement projects, which have received positive word-of-mouth and strong evaluations among major local governments. Last year, 4by4 collaborated with Sokcho City in Gangwon Province to plan and create the outdoor media art exhibition “Sea of Light, Sokcho” on the sands of Sokcho Beach, measuring about 70 meters in length and 25 meters in width. The exhibition proved extremely popular, cited as a factor in increasing summer visitors to Sokcho Beach, and was also recognized for its design value by winning the Silver Award (Minister of SMEs and Startups Award) at the Good Design Awards hosted by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion.

Bong Youngsoo, Head of the Exhibition Division at 4by4, stated, “The Andong Nightscape Improvement Project will be a space that brings together 4by4’s ultra-high-definition media content technology and the extensive know-how we have accumulated over years of organizing various media art exhibitions. It will make it possible to offer an even more fantastic tourism experience at Woryeong Park and Woryeonggyo Bridge, which are already famous for night tourism.”

Recently, 4by4 has shown clear growth in its exhibition business division, with a rapid increase in contracts for projects commissioned by local governments.
