Bridgestone Golf Raises 255 Million Won in Donations

The 18th Love Sharing Golf Tournament Held

Cumulative Donations Surpass 2.37 Billion Won

Bridgestone Golf announced on November 18 that it raised 255.51 million won through the 18th Love Sharing Golf Tournament.


Seokgyo Sangsa, the exclusive importer and distributor of Bridgestone Golf products, hosted the event on November 17 at The Starhue in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. Team Bridgestone tour players Park Hyunkyung, Lee Yewon, Ji Hansol, Shin Dain, Choi Jinho, and Jung Hanmil, as well as Seo Heekyung and Heo Yoonkyung, attended the event. A total of 35 teams and 140 participants joined together for the cause. Despite challenging times, the event achieved its highest fundraising amount ever. This year’s slogan emphasized, “Love Grows When Shared.”

With this year’s fundraising, the cumulative total has reached 2,377,318,012 won. Seokgyo Sangsa covers operating expenses of about 200 million won each year and donates all the funds raised, including participation fees, to those in need. Last year, donations were made to organizations such as St. Joseph’s Clinic, a free hospital, and Sungga Welfare Hospital.


The Love Sharing Golf Tournament receives support from many sponsors every year. This year, a total of 14 companies contributed as sponsors, including Golfzon, the Lee Seungyeop Baseball Scholarship Foundation, Community Chest of Korea, Bridgestone Tire, Mediheal, Marvis, Sunil Safe, UAG, Mark & Lona, Casamia, T.P. MILLS, Painter Golf Shoes, the Saeam Jogamje Foundation, and Mrs. Moon.
