Booyoung Group has continued its sponsorship of "Nanum 0700," the flagship social contribution program of the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS), for the fourth consecutive year by providing a donation again this year.
On November 18, Lee Joonggeun, Chairman of Booyoung Group, met with Kim Youyul, President of EBS, and other officials at the Booyoung Group headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to deliver a donation of 360 million won. With this latest contribution, Booyoung Group’s cumulative donations now total 2.72 billion won.
The donation delivered on this day will be used in its entirety through the Community Chest of Korea to support vulnerable groups in urgent need, such as child heads of household and patients with intractable diseases.
At the donation ceremony, Chairman Lee stated, "I hope our contribution will serve as a source of hope, providing a practical foundation for the self-reliance of vulnerable groups," adding, "I look forward to these efforts creating a butterfly effect that leads to the development of a sustainable society."

Booyoung Group has consistently supported families in crisis. Approximately 160 households, including those with disabilities, multicultural families, and grandparent-headed families, have received housing stability and medical expense support through Booyoung Group’s assistance. For example, the spouse of an Air Force non-commissioned officer who collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage immediately after giving birth to their fifth child regained consciousness thanks to the support, and a 16-year-old who was supporting his family while his father battled liver cancer was able to improve his living conditions and pursue his dream of becoming a soft tennis player with the help of the donation.
Meanwhile, Booyoung Group has donated more than 1.2 trillion won to society so far through the donation of educational and cultural facilities, scholarship programs, and disaster relief activities. Recently, the company has also been actively addressing social issues such as resolving low birth rates and population aging, and advocating for the reinstatement of "UN Day" as a public holiday, as part of its commitment to ESG management.
