Coway announced on November 18 that its 'Birex Triple Chair' was selected as an Excellent Design (GD) product at the 2025 Good Design Award.
The Good Design Award is the nation's top design award, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion since 1985. A panel of experts in the design field comprehensively evaluates products and services based on appearance, functionality, materials, and cost-effectiveness, awarding the government-certified GD mark to outstanding entries.
The Birex Triple Chair is a multifunctional chair that combines three features in one: work, relax, and massage. Its sophisticated design blends seamlessly into any space, while user-friendly features enhance both aesthetics and practicality. The chair is characterized by its smooth, curved design and is available in five colors: Ink Black, Wine Red, Camel Brown, Dark Brown, and Taupe Beige. The Birex Triple Chair has also won main awards at the 2025 Good Design Award in Japan, the 2025 Red Dot Design Award in Germany, and the 2024 iF Design Award.
The Birex Triple Chair provides comfortable seating tailored to different purposes. During work or study, a firm head cushion supports the neck and head to enhance focus. For relaxation, an electric reclining function allows for angle adjustment up to 150 degrees, and a heated seat warms the back, waist, hips, and legs for added comfort. When recovery is needed, a powerful 3D massage module and shoulder detection sensors deliver precise massages customized to the user's body shape.
