Doosan Engineering & Construction successfully concluded the pre-inspection event for residents at "Doosan We've the Zenith Ocean City" in Nam-gu, Busan. This complex consists of 3,048 units, making it the largest development supplied by Doosan Engineering & Construction in Busan to date. The company has provided approximately 17,000 residential units in the Busan area so far and plans to introduce new complexes totaling around 6,500 units in the future. As a result, the total supply in Busan is expected to exceed 20,000 units, further expanding the company's contribution to the local housing market. The recent event was held over three days from November 14 to November 16, attracting about 20,000 visitors and creating a lively atmosphere.
Doosan Engineering & Construction transformed the entire complex into a festival space blending culture, experience, and relaxation. Outdoor concerts were harmoniously combined with art installations by renowned artists throughout the complex, further elevating the prestige of "The Zenith" and fostering an environment where residents can enjoy diverse cultural experiences in their daily lives. A variety of hands-on programs were also prepared for families. The family photo booth, operated by a professional photographer, drew long lines, while participatory events such as caricature drawing and calligraphy offered residents special memories.
Snacks such as chicken, sausages, and fish cakes were served at the ground-level food truck zone, and complimentary coffee and refreshments were provided in the underground cafeteria, adding to the enjoyment of the event. Considering the large size of the complex and the amount of walking required, shuttle buses were operated to ensure visitor convenience. Doosan Engineering & Construction designed the pre-inspection event not merely as an inspection, but as a "festival," creating a special occasion for residents to share their excitement and anticipation for their new homes.
One prospective resident who attended the event commented, "The variety of community facilities seems ideal for family life. Walking through the complex hand in hand with my child, I dreamed of a new daily life. I came here for an inspection, but it turned out to be a heartwarming day."
Kim Yuchang, head of the residents' association, said, "We put a lot of effort into enhancing the community facilities and landscaping, and I am delighted to see the residents' satisfaction. During the remaining period, we will do our utmost together with Doosan Engineering & Construction to create an even better living environment, and we will strive to ensure that 'Doosan We've the Zenith Ocean City' becomes a landmark complex in the region."
Doosan Engineering & Construction stated, "To mark our 65th anniversary, we aimed to strengthen communication with residents and make their first experiences in the new space even more special. We will continue to offer a variety of programs to further enhance resident satisfaction in the future."
