Iksan City in North Jeolla Province will hold the "Onnuri Gift Certificate Refund Event," supported by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, at Bukbu Market and Iksan Market from the 19th to the 23rd.

원본보기 아이콘According to the city on the 17th, this event was organized to revitalize traditional markets and ease the financial burden on consumers. During the event period, if customers purchase domestic seafood at designated stores within the markets, they can receive up to 30% of the purchase amount back in Onnuri gift certificates, with a maximum refund of 20,000 won per person.
The refund amounts according to purchase totals are as follows: ▲For purchases between 34,000 won and less than 67,000 won, the refund is 10,000 won; ▲For purchases of 67,000 won or more, the refund is 20,000 won.
The refund booth will be set up in front of "Seoul Tteokjip" inside Bukbu Market and will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On-site, only same-day receipts will be accepted, and refunds will be provided in Onnuri gift certificates after verifying the purchaser's identity.
The city expects that this event will encourage consumption at traditional markets and have a positive effect on the recovery of the local economy.
A city official said, "We have prepared this refund event so that citizens can purchase domestic seafood at reasonable prices," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to promote a consumer culture centered on traditional markets and to revitalize the local economy."
