The Korea Real Estate Development Association (KODA) announced on November 17 that it will hold its 20th anniversary event, 'A.N.D 20 (ALL NEW DEVELOPER PROJECT 20),' at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on November 20. This event will serve as an occasion for the association, which has led the growth of the domestic developer industry over the past 20 years, to declare its future vision and direction for the next 20 years. A large number of key domestic and international figures, as well as industry stakeholders, are expected to attend.

The anniversary event, themed 'A New Beginning for the Next 20 Years,' will feature a variety of programs, including a global developer conference, a declaration of the future vision for developers, the unveiling of a renewed corporate identity (CI), the launch ceremony for the Korea Real Estate Development Industry Institute (K-REDII), and the KODA Developer Awards.

The event will begin on November 19 with a welcome dinner for international guests and major domestic developers, followed by the main session on November 20. On the morning of November 20, the 'Global Developer Conference' will be held, featuring executives from world-renowned real estate development companies such as Kushner Companies (USA), Mori Building (Japan), EDGE (Netherlands), and MDM Group (Korea).

In the first session, speakers will deliver keynote presentations on the theme of 'Paradigm Shifts in Global Developers and the Future of Korean Developers.' Nicole Kushner Meyer, Chief Operating Officer of Kushner Companies and sister of Jared Kushner, former White House Senior Advisor and son-in-law of President Donald Trump, will be a featured speaker. Hiroo Mori, Vice President of Mori Building and leader of the Roppongi Hills project, will speak on behalf of Mori Building, while Cecile Babcock, Head of Asset Allocation, will represent EDGE. Domestically, Moon Joohyun, Chairman of MDM Group and a first-generation developer in Korea, will also deliver a keynote. The second session will feature a panel discussion and roundtable on 'Korean Developers: Leaping Toward the Next 100 Years.'

During the main event in the afternoon, a 'Vision Declaration Ceremony' will take place. The association will officially announce its vision for the next 20 years, focusing on strengthening public interest and transparency, driving data-based industry innovation, establishing financial stability and risk management systems, promoting ESG-based urban development, and expanding its global network. The new CI, symbolizing the 20th anniversary, will also be unveiled for the first time. This CI renewal was created in collaboration with world-renowned creative director Park Youngha and embodies the values of '20 Years of Advancement with Global Developers,' reflecting the philosophies of innovation, transparency, and sustainability.

In addition, the Korea Real Estate Development Industry Institute will be newly launched. The institute, which has been expanded and reorganized from the policy research office into an independent research organization, will serve as a research hub to promote innovation and enhance the public interest in the real estate development industry. It will conduct research on advanced development models, propose policies based on public-private cooperation, and analyze development finance and business feasibility, thereby supporting the sustainable growth of the industry.

Kim Seungbae, President of the Korea Real Estate Development Association, stated, "This 20th anniversary event will serve as a declaration for a new era in the Korean developer industry. We will strengthen trust and public interest in the industry so that Korean developers can grow alongside the global market, and we will build a globally competitive ecosystem."

The 20th Anniversary Organizing Committee (headed by Kim Hanmo, Chairman of HM Group, and Deputy Head Kim Daegun, Chairman of Re-Gun Group) has prepared this event since its official launch in April of this year, focusing on six divisions: planning, public relations, academic affairs, external cooperation, finance, and publishing. Chairman Kim commented, "While the past 20 years have seen the Korean developer industry grow as a key driver of urban development, the next 20 years must be about innovation, collaboration, and the expansion of public value. This event will mark the starting point for that journey."
