The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups will jointly host the "2025 UAE K-Expo: All About K-Style (K-EXPO UAE 2025: All About K-Style)" in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 15 to 18, 2025.
The K-Expo is a comprehensive Hallyu exhibition that supports the joint export of Hallyu-related industries such as content, food, beauty, and tourism by encompassing both consumer-oriented events and business-to-business export consultations and briefings. Launched in 2022, the event was held in Canada in August and in Spain in September this year. The UAE K-Expo will be the largest ever, with 226 companies from a wide range of industries, including content, food, beauty, consumer goods, sports, and publishing, participating.
This year’s expo will take place at "Global Village," one of Dubai’s most popular cultural and tourist attractions, drawing millions of visitors annually.
The experiential exhibition hall, which connects virtual game spaces with daily life, will allow visitors to experience everyday consumer goods. There will also be a DJ performance combining LG Electronics’ audio technology with popular characters, broadcast content and a Korean cuisine fusion event featuring actor Ryu Sooyoung, a well-known ambassador of Korean food. To attract visitors’ attention, symbolic figures such as the tiger and magpie from Korean folk paintings-which inspired popular characters from "K-Pop Demon Hunters"-will be featured as large photo zones and event symbols throughout the venue. In addition, the K-pop concert will feature popular local artists such as "Chen," the multinational girl group "Billlie," and "Punch," known for singing numerous drama soundtracks.
Other highlights include personalized color (personal color) diagnostics by the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute, a Korea tourism promotion booth by the Korea Tourism Organization, a cooking class and "K-Food" exhibition hall by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation where participants can cook Korean food themselves, and an exhibition of outstanding design products by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. Various promotional exhibition halls will be set up, and an export consultation meeting will also be held to connect local buyers with Korean companies.
Twelve organizations will participate in the event, including the Korea Creative Content Agency, Korea Tourism Organization, National Museum Foundation, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute, Korea Publishing Industry Promotion Agency, Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Korea Small & Medium Business Distribution Center, Korea International Trade Association, and Korea Institute of Design Promotion. Next year, the K-Expo is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, United States, in conjunction with the North and Central America World Cup.
A policy official from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated, "The UAE is a strategic partner of Korea and a key country for entering the Middle East market, and there has been strong demand from companies wishing to participate in this expo. We hope this event will serve as an opportunity for Korean companies to take another step closer to the Middle East market, powered by the momentum of Hallyu."
