Energy services directly linked to the daily lives of the public cannot tolerate even a one-second interruption.
Korea National Oil Corporation (President Kim Dongseop) is conducting an intensive "2025 ICT Safety Inspection" of its information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure throughout November to ensure that public services essential to everyday life continue without interruption, even in the event of disasters such as fires or earthquakes.

In particular, the company plans to jointly inspect with external partners the status of emergency power supply (UPS) and battery management, maintenance of electrical, fire safety, and HVAC facilities, and the implementation of disaster preparedness measures for fire protection and temperature/humidity control systems.

원본보기 아이콘On the 13th, executives including the Head of Management Support Division participated directly in the on-site inspection, emphasizing the strengthening of field-oriented safety management systems, including fire prevention and safety incident response for core ICT infrastructure, risk management at partner worksites, and adherence to basic safety rules.
Based on the results of this inspection, Korea National Oil Corporation will implement follow-up measures such as replacing outdated equipment and enhancing safety facilities. The company also plans to continue strengthening its uninterrupted service operation system for platforms directly related to public convenience, such as Opinet and Petronet, in the future.
