Pocheon Mayor Baek Younghyun Offers Warm Support to College Exam Takers: "Examinees Are the Future of Pocheon"

On the morning of the 13th, when the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test was held, Baek Younghyun, mayor of Pocheon, visited Dongnam High School, a local test site, to support the examinees and encourage the staff.

That day, Mayor Baek greeted each examinee at the main gate of the test site from early in the morning. He offered warm words of encouragement such as, "Don't be nervous, take the test calmly," and "You've worked hard so far, good luck!" to comfort and motivate the students.

The students responded to the mayor's support with words of thanks and entered the test site feeling more at ease.

Mayor Baek said, "I send a big round of applause to all the examinees who have worked hard for a long time to achieve their dreams. Today is the day to fully demonstrate the skills you have honed, so I hope you approach the test with a calm mind and achieve great results."

He added, "Each and every one of you is the future and hope of Pocheon, and even after the exam, Pocheon City will continue to support your pursuit of your dreams."

Pocheon City implemented special transportation measures on the day of the test to ensure the safe and convenient movement of examinees, including operating a 'Fortune Bus' exclusively for examinees and deploying traffic control personnel around the test sites to provide comprehensive support for the students.
