Osan Selects Slogan for Gyeonggi Province Comprehensive Sports Competition: "Leap Forward Gyeonggi Province! Osan Shining Through Unity!"

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 11th that it has selected “Leap Forward Gyeonggi Province! Osan Shining Through Unity!” (non-disabled category) and “Farther Through Osan! Higher Together with Gyeonggi!” (disabled category) as the grand prize-winning slogans in the contest for the 2027-2028 Gyeonggi Province Comprehensive Sports Competition.

This contest was organized to find a representative slogan that embodies the unity and solidarity of Gyeonggi Province residents, as well as Osan City's urban vision, ahead of the 2027 Gyeonggi Province Comprehensive Sports Competition.

A total of 131 entries were submitted during the ten-day contest, which was open to all Gyeonggi Province residents. Based on the judging criteria, the city conducted a preliminary round, a main round, and a final round of evaluations, ultimately selecting eight winning entries.

In the non-disabled category, the excellence award went to “United Gyeonggi, Soaring Osan,” while the encouragement awards were given to “United in Osan, the Powerful Shout of Gyeonggi Province” and “Run in Osan, Shine in Gyeonggi.”

In the disabled category, the excellence award was given to “Gyeonggi of Sweat and Passion, Osan of Unity and Inspiration,” and the encouragement awards went to “United by Passion! Together at Heart! Overcome All Limits!” and “The Power of Colorful Osan, Gyeonggi Shining Through Unity!”

Osan Mayor Lee Kwonjae stated, “We will continue systematic preparations in the remaining period to ensure the successful hosting of the competition.”
