Hana Card announced on November 11 that it will launch a limited-edition card in collaboration with G-Dragon, the model for Hana Financial Group.
The card will be released at 11:00 a.m. on November 11 and will be available for purchase for two months until January 11 next year.
The lineup includes two premium cards: the G-Dragon Centum by Jade (annual fee: 1 million won) and the G-Dragon by Jade (annual fee: 150,000 won), as well as one G-Dragon Check by Hana Travelgo check card.
G-Dragon reinterpreted the core philosophy of Hana Financial Group, "Hana" (meaning "one"), in his own unique way for the card design.
The design concept embodies the beginning of brilliance through unity, the moment of harmony where diversity blooms as one, and the journey of growth that unfolds as one. These concepts are reflected in the group's flagship card products, combining artistry and symbolism.
The packaging and card materials have also been differentiated. Each card comes in a dedicated package, allowing customers to experience "art becoming a card" the moment they receive it.
The 1 million won annual fee card is a metal card made from advanced duralumin, a material used in aircraft, and is presented in an exclusive metal case.
The two premium cards are designed to offer benefits commensurate with their significant annual fees, providing voucher-based rewards depending on the annual spending amount.
Benefits include earning Hana Money points for overseas, airline, hotel, and duty-free purchases, as well as free access to airport lounges worldwide (for the cardholder, family, and companions). Hana Money points can also be earned at all domestic merchants and in the digital content sector.
For G-Dragon fans, the company will cover the 30,000 won fee for joining the official G-Dragon membership.
The check card includes the "Travelgo" service, offering free currency exchange for all currencies (100% preferential exchange rate), exemption from overseas transaction fees, and no fees for cash withdrawals at overseas ATMs.
When making payments at major domestic merchants such as cafes, bakeries, convenience stores, and digital content providers, customers can earn 5% Hana Money points on the transaction amount, based on the previous month's spending. The company will also cover the 15,000 won G-Dragon membership fee.
A Hana Card representative stated, "To fully convey the message of collaboration, we have prepared various elements beyond card design, including packaging and popup store experiences," adding, "With this collaboration card, we aim to offer customers a new experience where finance and art become one."
