Bank of Korea Signs Exchange and Cooperation MOU with Central Bank of Hungary

The Bank of Korea announced on November 10 that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Central Bank of Hungary to promote exchange and cooperation.

Under this MOU, the central banks of both countries plan to strengthen their cooperative relationship by sharing information and knowledge across various policy areas, conducting joint research, and holding workshops.


An official from the Bank of Korea stated, "This MOU reaffirms the strong cooperative relationship between the two central banks, which is based on mutual trust and understanding. It is significant in that it has established a comprehensive framework for cooperation by specifying the areas and forms of exchange and collaboration." The official added, "Strengthening cooperation with Hungary, a strategic hub in Europe, will serve as an important opportunity for both central banks to enhance their ability to respond to global economic uncertainties and financial market volatility."
