ITZY on JYP Contract Renewal: "We Will Put Our Hearts into Music at Our Own Pace"

'Tunnel Vision' to Be Released at 6 PM on the 10th

The group ITZY is making a comeback after five months with their new mini album "TUNNEL VISION."

On November 10, through their agency JYP Entertainment, ITZY stated, "We are happy to release a new album," and added, "We want to show a more 'leveled-up' version of ourselves than before."

This album is their first new release since "Girls Will Be Girls" in June. The team has highlighted "immersion" as the central keyword of this project. The album contains six tracks: "TUNNEL VISION," "Focus," "DYT," "Flicker," "Nocturne," and "8-BIT HEART." All members participated in the production, along with contributors such as Dem Jointz and KENZIE.

The title track "TUNNEL VISION" conveys a message about immersing oneself at one's own chosen pace, moving back and forth between sensory overload and isolation. The song combines hip-hop-based beats, brass sounds, and layered vocals to create a powerful sound.

ITZY explained, "The emotions we want to convey with this album can be summed up in words like 'dream,' 'destination,' and 'immersion.' We put a lot of effort into delivering a message that allows listeners to dive deeper into the music."

The members cited "preparing for the comeback" as the area they have been most focused on recently. Ryujin mentioned, "I've been really into series and movies," and added, "During this promotion, Yeji showed the ultimate level of immersion." Chaeryeong shared, "I've been spending more time on self-development."

The new performance was completed with the participation of Lachica and choreographer Kirsten. ITZY said, "The core of the choreography is the groove based on Afro-hip hop, sharp movements, and tunnel-inspired formations. There are several highlight moments, such as lining up in a row and mimicking the action of shooting a gun."

Having performed on various stages both domestically and internationally this year, ITZY said, "We can't forget the sight of the cheering rings of 'MIDZY' (the fandom name) lighting up even the biggest venues. The healthy energy we create together with the audience is our charm."

The group also announced plans for their third world tour. ITZY stated, "We will present stages filled with unity, cohesion, and a variety of charms," and added, "We will prepare thoroughly to meet expectations."

Celebrating their seventh anniversary since debut, the members also expressed their support for one another. Yeji said, "We were able to come this far because we were together. We want to put our hearts into music at our own pace." Ryujin added, "This comeback is an opportunity to renew my commitment to our activities."

At their fan meeting, ITZY announced their early contract renewal, saying, "We wanted to share the good news with our fans first. Thanks to your support, we have become even stronger."
