President Lee Jaemyung congratulated the Korean team T1 on November 10 for achieving an unprecedented third consecutive victory at the League of Legends (LoL) World Championship, calling it "an achievement that will be remembered in history."

Through his social networking service (SNS) account on the same day, President Lee stated, "By shining the name of Korea on the global stage, you have once again demonstrated the strength of our nation as an e-sports powerhouse. I am truly proud."

President Lee continued, "Your strong teamwork, mental fortitude that overcame all limits, and determination for victory have deeply moved fans not only in Korea but around the world. I will actively support the development of the cultural industry, including e-sports, so that our athletes can continue to pursue their dreams and passions to the fullest."

He added, "I pay tribute to T1's remarkable run and enthusiastically support all the players who will go on to write new history and legends."

Kang Hoonshik, Chief Presidential Secretary, also posted on SNS, "It was hard to believe, but player Faker has gone beyond legend to create a myth. Congratulations to both the team and player Faker."

Chief Secretary Kang said, "Watching player Faker, who has built an unrivaled presence in his field for more than a decade and once again set an incredible record, I feel a sense of awe. Such uniqueness is rarely seen in any sport."
