This consultation event was co-hosted by Changwon City and the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency, and was organized to diversify export markets for Changwon's key industries and to expand overseas opportunities for local small and medium-sized enterprises.

The event brought together buyers from 12 companies across three countries-Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam-as well as 45 small and medium-sized enterprises from the Changwon region. Notably, the Deputy Director General of Indonesia's Ministry of Industry and the Chairman of the South Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended in person, demonstrating strong interest in potential industrial cooperation with Changwon and elevating the event's prestige.

The event began on November 5 with a visit to the Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival and a welcome dinner. On November 6, participants visited the factories of outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises in Changwon, engaging in on-site business exchanges to directly observe technologies and products.

During the one-on-one export consultation sessions held on November 7, a total of 61 consultations took place, resulting in an export consultation amount of 53.92 million US dollars (approximately 78.1 billion KRW), a contract promotion amount of 16.1 million US dollars (approximately 23.3 billion KRW), and the signing of eight memorandums of understanding, achieving tangible results.

Officials from the Changwon Global Business Center provided overseas market entry consulting to participating companies, supporting the creation of meaningful export outcomes.

Park Jinyeol, Director of the Economic and Employment Bureau, stated, "This export consultation event was a meaningful opportunity for Changwon companies with excellent technological capabilities to connect directly with the global market. We will continue to actively support local companies so they can grow on the world stage."
