The Love Briquette Collection Campaign is a project that provides briquettes, heating oil, and heating supplies to low-income households struggling with winter heating costs. The recent rise in energy prices and the burden of living expenses in recent years have made it especially difficult for vulnerable groups to get through the winter, giving this campaign even greater significance.

Last year, thanks to the active participation of many local residents, institutions, and organizations, donations and goods worth 220 million won were collected, and briquettes, heating oil, and heating supplies were provided to 1,233 households.

Jeon Jinseon, Governor of Yangpyeong County, stated, "As the cold season approaches, the worries of our neighbors in need deepen. I ask for the interest and participation of every county resident, as each person's involvement can help create even greater warmth."

Meanwhile, the main fundraising period for the Love Briquette Collection Campaign runs from November 1 of this year to January 31 of next year. The donations and goods collected will be distributed to Yangpyeong County through the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea. Donation receipts will be issued for all contributions, allowing donors to receive income tax deductions during year-end tax settlements.
