Korail Distribution shared key risk factors such as slips and falls, as well as prevention rules, to prevent industrial accidents and the recurrence of similar incidents. The company also conducted training based on real-life cases, including heavy equipment accidents, fires, and electric shocks.
CEO Park stated, "We must thoroughly identify risk factors and strengthen prevention efforts to do our utmost to prevent safety accidents from occurring."
Since taking office in February this year, CEO Park has personally visited sites to oversee the safety management system. In September, he visited the Donghae Headquarters in Gangwon Province to participate in a safety accident simulation drill and directly chaired a meeting to review major accident prevention. Recently, he has been conducting monthly on-site safety inspections of major railway station commercial facilities with executives, working to spread a culture of "sustainable safety management."
