Hana Bank announced on the 7th that it had signed a business agreement with Medecins Sans Frontieres Korea on October 27 at the Hana Bank headquarters to promote a culture of legacy giving.

This agreement was established to foster and entrench a culture of legacy giving, thereby cultivating a mature culture of sharing and spreading social responsibility and humanitarian values.

Hana Bank plans to support the swift and accurate execution of donors' intentions by utilizing donation trust products, such as will-substitute trusts, to design trusts optimized for the characteristics of each client's assets. Medecins Sans Frontieres Korea will cooperate by leveraging Hana Bank's trust platform, enabling legacy donors to participate in life-saving humanitarian activities.

In addition, the two organizations plan to establish a close system of mutual cooperation, including jointly operating legacy giving consultation programs, promoting and sharing cases of donation trust products, and collaborating on humanitarian medical relief campaigns.

Lee Eunjung, Head of Hana The Next Division at Hana Bank, stated, "We hope the warm-hearted spirit of legacy giving will lead to humanitarian medical relief activities that help many people. Hana Bank will continue to faithfully fulfill its role and strive to create a better society."

Emma Campbell, Secretary General of Medecins Sans Frontieres Korea, said, "Through this agreement, we hope that the special act of legacy giving will become a force that saves more lives. We will continue to provide ongoing medical support to those in need."

Meanwhile, Hana Bank launched its trust-based integrated asset management platform, Hana Living Trust, in 2010, and has been providing comprehensive asset management services-including cash, real estate, and stocks-together with professionals such as lawyers, tax accountants, real estate experts, and trust consultants.
