In "Next Sam Altman," CEO Junpyo Lee visits sites at the forefront of AI innovation, highlighting the significance of these changes for Korean society and industry. In particular, through an exclusive face-to-face interview with CEO Sam Altman-made possible by their personal connection-he engaged in an in-depth discussion about the direction of the global AI industry and Korea's competitiveness.
In addition, Lee met with various figures including Yann LeCun, Professor at New York University and Chief AI Scientist at Meta, and Aravind Srinivas, CEO of Perplexity, to gain insights into the development of AI technology and its societal impact.
Since rebranding from SoftBank Ventures last year, SBVA has expanded its investments in AI and deep tech, actively supporting Korean startups’ overseas expansion through strategic networks with global AI companies. The company’s participation in this documentary also aims to further expand the investment ecosystem by sharing knowledge.
The documentary will air on SBS at 10:55 a.m. on November 9, and will subsequently be available for streaming on Netflix.
