The Korea Venture Business Association announced on November 5 that it held the 6th Impact Star Demo Day at IT Square in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
This event was organized as part of the "2025 Pre-Startup Package Specialized Social Venture" program, supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. The association aimed to introduce social ventures it has discovered and nurtured, and to expand investment opportunities through networking with investors, accelerators, and other startup support stakeholders.
At the event, representatives from 10 social ventures, as well as about 80 key industry figures including those from accelerators, venture capital firms, and startup support organizations, were in attendance.
The participating companies showcased their business ideas, growth visions, and technology-driven models to address social issues. In particular, they presented innovative solutions in various fields such as environment, education, aging society, and regional economy, drawing significant interest from investors and industry stakeholders present at the event.
An association official stated, "Although the investment environment for venture startups has recently become challenging, social ventures continue to take on the challenge of solving social problems and building sustainable businesses. The association will strengthen its support in various ways."
