This event, held on November 4, was organized to promote the adoption of eco-friendly public transportation and to improve mobility for transportation-vulnerable groups. The event was attended by Sangkeun Lee, Governor of Goseong County, relevant public officials, bus operators, and local residents.

The event began with an explanation of the purpose and necessity of introducing electric low-floor buses, followed by a hands-on experience where participants could try out the new buses themselves. The newly introduced buses feature low entrances, making it safer and more convenient for people with wheelchairs, strollers, and other mobility needs to board and disembark.

Governor Lee test-drove the electric low-floor bus at the site and stated, "Through today's test-drive, I was able to experience firsthand the comfortable ride, low noise, and low vibration-eco-friendly features of the electric low-floor bus. We will do our utmost to introduce and expand eco-friendly transportation so that public transit in Goseong County becomes even safer and more convenient."

Goseong County plans to gradually introduce electric low-floor buses on major routes throughout the region. As a result, various benefits are expected, including the reduction of fine dust and greenhouse gas emissions in urban areas and the expansion of mobility rights for transportation-vulnerable groups.
