[Photo] KOSPI Plunges Without End

On November 5, as the KOSPI index plunged over 5% during intraday trading, following a sharp decline in U.S. tech stocks, the index fell below the 3,900 mark. The electronic board at the Hana Bank dealing room in Jung-gu, Seoul displayed the KOSPI, KOSDAQ, and other indices. As of 9:09 a.m. that day, the KOSPI opened at 3,997.87, down 123.87 points (3.01%) from the previous session, surrendering the 3,900 level just seven trading days after surpassing 4,000.
