The festival opened with a saxophone ensemble performance by the Ace Saxophone Club (led by Jang Sanghyun and 10 other members). This was followed by five teams composed of residents' center students performing classical guitar, ocarina, accordion, acoustic guitar, and line dance, as well as a belly dance performance, further enhancing the festive atmosphere with a variety of vibrant acts.

During the opening ceremony, Jeon Mikyung, Chairperson of the Gyomun 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, delivered the opening address, followed by congratulatory remarks from Paik Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, the Chairperson of Guri City Council, and a member of the National Assembly. In addition, a 15-member delegation-including the head of Toseong-myeon and the chairperson of the residents' autonomy committee from Toseong-myeon, Goseong County, Gangwon Province, which has maintained a sisterhood relationship with Gyomun 2-dong since 2007-visited in person to celebrate the event.

In particular, the special performances linked to the Guri Cultural Foundation's "Gugugu Festa" featured invited singers such as Park Namjung, Jeon Mikyung (Guri City PR ambassador), Na Dokyung, and Yeo Seotjul Iyagi, as well as a residents' singing contest, adding to the excitement on site.

On one side of the venue, a variety of experience and promotional booths were operated for families visiting the festival. Various activities were provided, including CPR experience (Volunteer Fire Brigade), plant planting (Council for Sustainable Development), calendar making (handwriting), wood carving workshop, and face painting. In addition, there were booths promoting carbon neutrality, a campaign to identify welfare blind spots, and an Anabada secondhand market, all of which received enthusiastic responses from residents.

Jeon Mikyung, Chairperson of the Gyomun 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, said, "I am delighted that the Gwanggaeto Festival, now in its sixth year, concluded successfully with the participation of many residents. We will continue to develop the festival into an even richer and more meaningful event each year, so that citizens can set aside their worries and enjoy a joyful day through diverse performances and attractions."

Paik Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, stated, "I sincerely thank the Gyomun 2-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee for planning and hosting this meaningful festival created together by residents. The Gwanggaeto Festival is not only a venue for communication and unity among residents, but also an event that allows us to reflect on the significance of Gwanggaeto the Great Square. We will continue to provide active support so that the festival can further develop in the future."
