Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation Holds 7th Mirae Asset MEET-UP Project

The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation announced on November 4 that it held the 7th Mirae Asset MEET-UP Project at Mirae Asset Center One, with the participation of over 90 overseas exchange scholarship recipients.

The MEET-UP Project, first launched in November 2023, marks its seventh edition this year. With "innovation" as the central theme, the program is designed to help scholarship recipients broaden their understanding of change and reflect on their career paths together. The event featured special lectures offering diverse perspectives and networking activities to facilitate meaningful communication.

Physicist Kim Sangwook delivered a special lecture on the types of questions and preparations needed in a rapidly evolving technological environment. This provided students with an opportunity to expand their thinking. The session encouraged participants to shift their perspectives on technology, understand a changing society, and contemplate the standards of thought required to lead the future.

Shin Hyunji, who studied at Murray State University in the United States during the spring semester of 2023, said, "Aiming to become a financial engineering expert, I have been considering how to utilize AI in the financial sector." She added, "The lecture made me reconsider what questions should be asked when dealing with technology, and it was a valuable time to establish practical standards for preparing for my career."

A representative from the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation stated, "The program is designed to help scholarship recipients develop their growth potential based on diverse learning experiences and networking opportunities," and added, "We will continue to provide opportunities for participants to respond proactively to change and to grow together."

The MEET-UP Project brings together experts from various fields such as science, technology, and society, offering scholarship recipients opportunities to acquire new knowledge and broaden their horizons. It has become a platform for exchange, where students from different backgrounds, ranging from university students to young professionals, share their experiences and ideas. To date, more than 540 scholarship recipients have participated in the program.
