Dotmill, a company specializing in immersive media content production, announced on November 4 that it achieved sales of 13.79 billion KRW and a net profit of 1.88 billion KRW in the third quarter of this year, successfully turning a profit for both the quarter and the cumulative period. This performance marks the company's largest results since its listing and is attributed to improved management efficiency and a shift toward a profitability-focused system.
Dotmill is strengthening the stability of its performance by increasing the proportion of recurring revenue through operational and content expansion. Leveraging its collaboration experience with major domestic companies, Dotmill is expanding its overseas network while simultaneously enhancing its proprietary space IP and collaborating with global entertainment and animation IPs to boost both brand value and profitability. Partnerships secured through global exhibitions and business meetings are leading to actual business discussions, and the company is actively pursuing orders for overseas immersive media projects.
Recently, the government's strengthened policies for regional tourism revitalization and balanced development have increased the demand for immersive media technology. Dotmill is expanding new business opportunities in both the private and public sectors, focusing on public and regional development projects, and is also working to spread regional tourism models based on immersive content.
According to market research firm Immersive Media Market, the global immersive media market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of over 20%. As the market expands, particularly in the tourism, culture, and entertainment industries, Dotmill is securing competitiveness within the growth phase by focusing on spatial innovation, operational internalization, and content scalability.
Dotmill CEO Jung Haeun emphasized, "The third quarter results demonstrate that Dotmill has entered a phase of qualitative growth, and 2025 will be the year when Dotmill is fully re-evaluated by the market." He added, "We plan to strengthen communication with shareholders by directly sharing the company's vision and future growth strategies through a shareholder letter regarding these results." Detailed information on the shareholder letter can be found on Dotmill's website.
Meanwhile, Dotmill operates several projects utilizing its own IP based on immersive media technology, including 'Lunafall' and 'Water World' in Jeju, 'Glow Safari' in Gyeonggi, and 'OPCI' in Seoul.
