Cheongsong County was selected for this project after a rigorous on-site evaluation. Going forward, the county plans to systematically establish a fruit production base by developing water sources, expanding and paving farm roads, and installing water supply and drainage channels, thereby fostering a competitive production hub.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee stated, "In a situation where natural disasters such as droughts and heavy rains caused by abnormal weather are increasing, it is very meaningful to expand a stable foundation for high-quality fruit production. We will continue to do our best to discover national projects and ensure the sustainable development of Cheongsong County's fruit industry."
