KB Kookmin Card Launches Cashback Events for Customers Preparing for Overseas Travel

KB Kookmin Card announced on November 4 that it will hold the "Cashback Benefits Collection.zip" event for Travelers Check Card customers until December 31.

If you register your card for the Mastercard Travel Rewards (MTR) service on the KB Pay application event page, you will receive a 10% cashback benefit. The cashback is provided for purchases made at participating merchants such as department stores in Japan, Alipay in China, and shopping malls in Europe.

The "Travel Abroad with Mastercard and Get Exclusive Westin Josun Seoul Benefits" event will also run until December 19. After registering for the event, if you spend at least 1 million won (based on KRW equivalent) at overseas merchants using a KB Kookmin Mastercard credit or check card, you will receive exclusive Westin Josun Seoul benefits on a first-come, first-served basis.

The "UnionPay Overseas 10% Instant Discount" event will be held until December 31. After registering for the event, if you use a KB Kookmin UnionPay credit or check card (excluding KB Kookmin corporate and BC cards) to make a single purchase of at least USD 150 (approximately 215,000 KRW) at offline merchants in nine countries, you will receive a 10% discount. The maximum discount is USD 20 (approximately 29,000 KRW) per transaction, up to three times per card. The eligible countries are China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the United States, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia.
