Gyeongbuk Office of Education Named Top Institution in Metropolitan and Provincial Offices Evaluation for Second Consecutive Year... Receives 500 Million Won Incentive

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jongshik) announced on the 4th that it has achieved the distinction of being selected as the top institution for two consecutive years in the 'Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Education.

The Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education Evaluation is a comprehensive annual assessment conducted by the Ministry of Education for all 17 regional offices across the country. It serves as a barometer for the management of educational offices by examining the implementation results of major education policies using both quantitative and qualitative indicators, and assigning evaluation grades based on the pass rate of assessment criteria.

Gyeongbuk Office of Education

This year, the evaluation focused on national policy tasks and education reform initiatives, assessing a total of four areas and 21 indicators: △State-Responsible Educational Care △Classroom Revolution △Inclusive Schools △Efficiency in Administrative and Financial Operations of Regional Offices of Education. The Gyeongbuk Office of Education passed all 21 indicators, achieving the highest grade.

As a result of this achievement, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education will receive a financial incentive of 500 million won in 2026, and its excellence in leading educational administration and policy implementation has been officially recognized.
