According to the police and other sources on November 3, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul received a petition in August concerning Producer A, a man in his 40s who works in variety programming.

The petition reportedly claims that in the early morning hours of August, A made unwanted physical contact with B, who was participating in the production of a new variety program.

Attorney Lee Eunui, B’s legal representative, released a statement saying, “Five days after the incident of forcible molestation, the victim was notified by the perpetrator that she would be removed from the program. The first argument between the two occurred during the final location scouting for the program, and this was used as a pretext to dismiss the victim.”

The statement continued, “After the molestation, B was severely isolated by those around her, suffering serious secondary harm. Furthermore, A even took steps to disparage B, making it impossible for her to endure any further secondary victimization.”

Meanwhile, A has reportedly denied B’s allegations of unwanted physical contact.
