On October 30, the Fire Department Headquarters held an on-site response commanders' meeting in the third-floor main conference room, attended by the Chief of Changwon Fire Department Headquarters as well as key commanders, including the heads of Uichang, Seongsan, and Masan Fire Stations.

This meeting was held in response to the heightened risk of wildfires due to dry winter weather conditions and strong winds, as well as increased awareness following recent industrial facility fires. The agenda included: establishing a proactive response system for winter wildfires and fires; strengthening on-site response capabilities centered on commanders; building a robust on-site response system; and implementing response measures and reporting current issues by each fire station.

In particular, the meeting included discussions on proactive response strategies not only for wildfires but also for large-scale fire incidents, as well as a review of the on-site command system.

Chief Lee Sanggi of the Fire Department Headquarters emphasized, "During the winter season, even minor negligence can lead to major disasters, so swift judgment and systematic command by commanders are more important than ever." He urged, "I ask that all commanders take the lead at the frontline, respond proactively, and help make Changwon a safer city from fires."
