Galaxy Corporation, Only Entertainment Tech Firm to Attend APEC Summit Dinner

AI entertainment technology company Galaxy Corporation was the only entertainment tech firm to attend the 2025 APEC Summit welcome dinner, held on October 31 at the Grand Ballroom of the Lahan Hotel in Gyeongju.

The dinner was attended by President Lee Jaemyung and the First Lady, as well as Chinese President Xi Jinping and leaders from 21 member countries, along with global economic leaders. Among Korean business leaders, Galaxy Corporation CEO Choi Yongho was present, along with Lee Jaeyong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics; Chey Taewon, Chairman of SK Group; Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group; Koo Kwangmo, Chairman of LG Group; Shin Dongbin, Chairman of Lotte Group; and Lee Haejin, Chairman of the Board at Naver, representing the heads of Korea's five major conglomerates and other top executives.

Galaxy Corporation's participation is seen as recognition of its achievements in pioneering the Enter-Tech market centered on K-pop and leading industrial innovation through the use of AI (artificial intelligence) technology. In particular, industry observers note that Galaxy Corporation was the only entertainment company invited to the dinner because it has been highly regarded for spearheading AI entertainment tech projects in collaboration with global companies.

By participating in various aspects of the APEC Summit, Galaxy Corporation helped raise the profile of K-Culture worldwide and contributed to the global influence of South Korea as a powerhouse in AI.
