This event, hosted by the Korea Coach Association, recognizes the achievements of organizations that have made significant efforts to establish and promote a coaching culture within their organizations.

In July, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power became the first public enterprise to be officially certified as a “Professional Coach Training Institution” by the Korea Coach Association, after its self-developed “We-Coach Training Program” received official accreditation.

This latest award is seen as recognition of the company’s success in spreading a coaching culture throughout its organization.

The “We-Coach Training Program” is a systematic program consisting of theoretical, practical, and advanced training modules, designed to help internal members develop into professional coaches. The Korea Coach Association highly evaluated the program’s comprehensive planning, practical design, and organization-friendly educational philosophy.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power has expanded and reorganized its existing training organization and strengthened practice-oriented coaching education to enhance leadership capabilities and improve internal communication culture. In particular, coaching is being actively utilized to strengthen “collaboration” and “safety culture,” both of which are critical in the nuclear power industry.

The Talent Development Institute stated, “This award is the result of spreading a coaching culture based on respect and consideration throughout the organization,” and added, “We will continue to foster a communication-centered culture so that all members can build a trusted organization together.”
