During the Chuseok holiday, the company reported a daily transaction amount of approximately 14.6 billion KRW (about 14.6 billion won) and 330,000 transaction approvals per day.

These figures represent increases of 30% and 42%, respectively, compared to the daily transaction amount of 11.1 billion KRW and 230,000 transaction approvals recorded during the "Golden Holiday" in May.

By country, the highest proportions of payments were made in the following order: Japan, the United States, Vietnam, China, Australia, and Italy.

The average daily amount of automatic top-ups exceeded 200 million KRW during this period.

As of the end of this month, Travel Wallet has reached a cumulative transaction volume of 7 trillion KRW and has issued a total of 8.5 million cards.

Travel Wallet is also building a Korean won stablecoin infrastructure, having recently signed a business agreement with global cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com to jointly develop a co-branded prepaid card and payment system.

Kim Hyungwoo, CEO of Travel Wallet, stated, "This is not just an increase in transactions, but proof that users trust the security and technological capabilities of our payment system. We will continue to simplify the complex process of foreign exchange payments and provide a reliable payment experience anywhere in the world."
