On October 29, at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, bereaved families attending the 'Third Anniversary Memorial Ceremony of the 10·29 Itaewon Tragedy' are observing a moment of silence in response to the memorial siren. The siren sounded across Seoul at 10:29 a.m. for one minute to honor the victims and allow citizens to join in the moment of silence.
