Ferrari Unveils First Digital Hypercar 'F76'... "A Vision of Future Design"

"Create Your Own Digital Car Through the Hyperclub Program"

Ferrari has unveiled its first digital-only NFT (non-fungible token) car, the 'F76.' The model name commemorates Ferrari's first victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1949, achieved by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon with the '166 MM Touring Barchetta,' exactly 76 years ago.

The F76 is not a mass-produced car but a virtual project, developed as a digital asset to support the '499P' competing in Le Mans and the World Endurance Championship (WEC).

Created by the Ferrari Styling Centre led by Flavio Manzoni, the F76 offers a glimpse into the future form of Ferrari. It is characterized as a visionary project that redefines the boundaries of automotive design through a parametric approach, organically combining shape, function, and performance like a living organism.

The most distinctive feature is its twin-fuselage structure, which separates the body like two aircraft fuselages. This design is the result of efforts to control airflow in its purest form. The shape and geometric structure of the wings are engineered to maximize performance and surpass existing limits.

The driver and passenger spaces are separated and arranged low within the wheelbase (the distance between the front and rear axles), creating a central channel for air to flow through the middle of the body. This central channel transforms the body into a single wing, maximizing ground effect. The airflow splits at the front of the body and rejoins at the rear. A second wing sits atop the two tails at the rear, enhancing the efficiency of the unique diffuser.

Another striking feature from the side is the vertical line reminiscent of the F80. This is a technical yet sculptural design introduced in the new supercar, and it is expected to be applied to future production models as well.

The central part of the body features a three-dimensional livery (pattern or graphic) with side louvers, emphasizing Ferrari's unique design language. The tail section integrates thermal management functions directly into the structure through topology optimization technology. The resulting complex geometric structure guides the flow of cooling air and maximizes the heat dissipation of internal mechanical components.

The rear is characterized by two vertical profiles that visually highlight the track width (the distance between the centers of the left and right wheels). The upper wing wraps around the central channel like a crossbar in a door frame, creating an entrance to the new design. Four signature taillights are seamlessly integrated with the wing, contributing to the overall performance.

The interior is designed to better share the driving experience. Two independent cockpits synchronize all driving elements, from the steering wheel to the pedals, allowing both occupants to experience and share sensations in real time. This enhances both emotional immersion and technical engagement during driving.

Customers of the F76 project can complete their own digital car by selecting from a variety of exclusive, limited-edition design options, which will be released sequentially over three years through the Hyperclub program. A Ferrari representative stated, "Customers will be able to create a one-of-a-kind F76, becoming active members of an exclusive and innovative community where tradition and innovation meet under the name of passion."
