BTS V's "Winter Ahead" Surpasses 500 Million Streams on Spotify

V of BTS has added another 500 million-streaming song to his achievements on the global music platform Spotify.

According to Big Hit Music on October 28, the duet song "Winter Ahead," performed by V and singer Park Hyo Shin, surpassed 500 million cumulative streams on Spotify as of October 25.

"Winter Ahead," released in November last year, is a jazz-pop track featuring saxophone, trumpet, and prepared piano sounds, capturing a warm and cozy atmosphere. Immediately after its release, it debuted at No. 99 on the main singles chart, the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, marking V's fifth entry on the Hot 100.

With this, V now has four songs that have each surpassed 500 million streams in total, following "Love Me Again," "FRI(END)S," and "Slow Dancing." Billboard selected "Winter Ahead" as one of "The 27 Best Winter Songs for the Season," describing it as "a warm and cozy song that evokes the first day of early winter."

V has a total of 12 solo songs that have each surpassed 100 million streams, including "Love Me Again," which has exceeded 1 billion streams.
